ABOUT US
We first became interested in the Alpaca business when we saw a
commercial on television. We were especially interested
in the lifestyle. We began to do our research, visited several
farms and made the decision to go ahead. Not only did we
believe it would be a great thing to do when we retired, but we also
have a son who at the age of 16 became a special child, and we
wanted to provide something that would benefit him. This was
the perfect choice because of the gentleness, and relative ease of
caring for these wonderful animals.
We own Huacaya alpacas, chosen first the from the heart and then for
their quality.
Our goal is to breed for a gentle temperament in order to share the
Alpacas with special individuals, 4-H, Girl Scouts, etc.
While temperament is important, the alpaca is a fiber animal and
produces one of the softest, strongest natural fibers available.
With this in mind our breeding program is focused on producing fiber
with low micron, lots of luster, and density.
